You can delete your Movcar account, and the personal data associated with it, at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data afterwards.
If you can still sign in to your account:
Your account and its data will be removed. This cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.
If you cannot sign in — for example you have forgotten your password, uninstalled the app, or you are a driver whose account was created by an employer — email us and we will delete it for you.
Write to support@movcar.app from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. If you cannot email us from that address, write to us anyway and we will verify your identity another way before deleting anything.
If you use Movcar as a driver or employee under your company’s fleet account, your employer controls that account and the data in it. They are the data controller; Movcar processes the data on their behalf.
Please contact your employer or fleet manager to have your data removed. If you contact us instead, we will pass your request on to them and let you know we have done so.
When your account is deleted, we remove:
A small amount of data must be retained by law, or to protect against legal claims. We keep only what is necessary, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

We action deletion requests without undue delay, and in any event within one month of receiving them, as required by Article 12(3) of the GDPR.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first — see our Terms & Conditions — or tell us in your email and we will handle both.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Romania this is the ANSPDCP.
